Meet

Rocky

Rocky was born to a mother moved to a farm. Rocky faced a perilous start when farm owners threatened his family’s lives. Rescuers intervened, saving his mother and siblings, but Rocky’s journey to safety was marred by cruelty. Stolen and bound in barbed wire, he endured unspeakable abuse before being rescued, spending 16 days at the vet to heal.

Despite his traumatic past, Rocky still loves and trusts people and other dogs. He is housebroken and leash trained, and intelligent. While he may bark minimally when excited, his gentle demeanor and love for cuddles make him an ideal companion for those willing to provide a nurturing environment.

Given his size and energy levels, he should not be adopted in a home with small children. Another dog to play with would be great for Rocky.
